A different accommodation directory...
Irish-homes.com is not a booking portal but a listing of links to the websites of private Irish holiday accommodation providers. We try to showcase some of the best hospitality accommodation in Ireland. But our site isn’t your run-of-the-mill listing site, we have taken care to ensure we list properties that are unique, come highly recommended, or offer something beyond the expected.
Though many houses we present have a star rating given by other resources we do not use this as a criteria for our listings, as we've seen many places which have at least the same if not more to offer than their highly star rated competition. Some of the mentioned B&Bs have only very few rooms, but here you have the best chance to meet the true Irish hospitality you're looking for - and usually pay less than in more established houses! Most of the self catering homes in this directory are unique properties managed and taken care of by their owners - often lovingly restored Irish country cottages with a lot of style and character and very different from those houses in holiday home estates which are otherwise so common in Ireland.
Nearly all of the accommodation we present on our sites has been inspected by us. However we also rely on your feedback! If you have any comments about business promoted here please let us know. Should any such accommodation not meet your (or our) expectations any more, we'll let the proprietors know. Repeated complaints will eventually lead to exclusion from our directory. Please use the form below for your feedback or for your recommendations!
The rates listed in the description of the properties indicate the price range at which the rental takes place and which was communicated to us by the owners. These prices are only to be seen as an indication as they depend on several factors (including rental periods, season, age and number of guests, negotiated conditions) that are not known to us. The proprietor will give you the price valid for your rental/stay if he/she has all the relevant data. The stated price for holiday homes may include variable costs (electricity/heating/waste, etc.), which will be settled after the end of the rental period. Since we do not receive any commission for featuring the objects in this directory, we do not know the pricing structure and the final compensation paid.
As we want to help you in your search for the best places to Stay in Ireland, we also present Hotels & B&Bs that have been recommended to us by other travelers and which are characterized by above-average service. This Accommodation is carefully selected and published only when we have sufficient good reviews from other sources. The individual links lead to the website of the business or to our partner Booking.com. Either way, any external or affiliate link is clearly marked as such!
