This is a fairly pleasant (but long, see option below) walk at least until around Blackwater Bridge, from where the walk follows along the busy Ring Of Kerry road for a while, which happens again between Templenoe and Reen... Here the route leaves the main road again and heads uphill over Gortamullin Hill and then down into Kenmare. If you intend to stay at Golfcourseview B&B (see below) the owner will pick you up at the trailend in town.

Option: As many walkers are getting tired towards this stage, Coomassig View B&B (see page before) can arrange a cab to bring you part or all the way to Kenmare at reasonable rates!
